I finally decided that I liked the movie The Time Traveler's Wife.

I didn't really like it. But then this 2 days those scenes (not the sex ones mind you, Zhen. -.-) and lots of questions keep popping out of my head, very hard to sleep at night I tell you. I think I want to watch it again, as boring as it maybe, I still liked it.

No la, actually because of Rachel McAdams only, she is gorgeous.
(I always correct people if they say she's hot, because I think gorgeous has more class and elegance to it. Hot, is an understatement)


Then on top of that, recently I was just plain curious on why Quay (pronounced as Kee, like Clarke Quay, No i'm just kidding. HEHE) Jian Wen was so into Boys Like Girls (mind you, the things he writes on Facebook... LOL) So I downloaded (sorry la, I don't have the moolah to get random CDs) their second album, and... I'm hooked to it. =.="

darn it.

Particularly this song, Two is Better than One feat Taylor Swift (omfgg, I heart Taylor -__-)



The first time I heard it, I was like nahh, okay only lah pfftt. Then the more I listen to the song, the "flavour" (Foo will understand about flavours of a song. Its hard to explain, you gotta feeeel it.) of the song just comes out, like ohmyfreakinggosh good.

I love his vocals,very man and tenor <3 and Taylor's voice (though i can't really hear it clearly, due to the arrangements -.-) is like the icing on the cake. Yummy. :)

Then because of I was still in "deep thoughts" about The Time Traveler's Wife while listening to this song, then I lagi emo, like what the hell. -.-" Can relate to the movie somemore.


Then I stumbled upon THIS, on his facebook profile(where else to know better about them other than a crazy fan? haha) Yes, facebook is a powerful tool to stalk your friends. I quote my elder sister.

Operation I Don't Wanna Die So Young!

Haha, so exams are over. And I'm free, so I thought of the importance of living the healthy life. I want to live till 85 and still see my greatgrand child marry.

(Thats if I marry by 18, and force all my kids and grandchilren to marry by 18...)

So I have this plan, which die die sure fail wan.
But, hey at least I have a PLAN right, do you? You fat, uh.. human.

Below is the plan for a 24hour day, not 48 hours mind you.

• Skipping Rope, 15 minutes
• Drink Milk

Okay, actually above is for me to grow tall. I've been drinking milk everyday, still no growth rate. I wonder whether the Biology lesson that adolescents have fast growth rate are true... Probably there's another theory behind it, I'll probably be the first one who noticed this, then I win the Nobel's prize then I'll be rich. Then all THIS will be take place... HEHE.

• Eat good, healthy breakfast (fruits, bacon and egg. yums)
  
• Eat less junk food
• No chocolate ( >:( for the bloody pimples to stop growing )
• Exercise, 15 minutes (thats ALOT for me okay)
• Practice Cello, 15 - 60 minutes (er, it makes me think)
• Sleep by latest 11.30 pm, wake up latest 6
  
• Teach annoying little kids (to train your tolerance/patience)
• Read
• Religious studies, 30 mins
  

The rest goes to youtube, and drama/series.

I am KIND okay, the kids like me.
Well except those with a bloody attitude problem, then i don't care la.
Not like I care whether you know what the heck a minim is right.
Those type of parents that side their F-ing spoilt kids, I don't have anything to say la

But so far, those kids i teach are still tolerable, chubby and cute.
Came back from school, then I taught 2 today.
Not bad teaching them. Its just that I found out, my throat SOREs like nobody's business after the lesson. Because I keep talking, telling them stories and all.

Lesson of the day: teaching isn't really that easy.

Esp, those shy kids. They don't talk, so you have to get them to talk, or not you'll be like talking to the piano. -.-"

Currently diggin on Amy Winehouse's Back to Black (2006) album,
yeah its a little late to like it, but yeah.

The genre is like, so vintage.
She plays a lot with syncopation s, and the more I listen to the album, I find that the drums and bass guitar play a very important role.
Not to mention those funky percussions that she use.

I like it that she wrote all of the songs herself.
She is talented.

A must get album, hmm.

Was studying History yesterday
(yes, it was a last minute study. I crammed 5 chapters in one night. Hey, in my defense at least I studied right?)

It came to this part, where it starts talking about how the British colonize our country, yadda and how they brought in lots of immigrants and all. How all the Orang Cina, Orang India came to Tanah Melayu.

It just makes me wonder, how different my life would be if, if my greatgrandad (my dad's granddad) didn't travel all the way down from China.

I'll probably be over there, speaking hokkien.
I'll probably run around naked. (during childhood la please. -.-)

I'll probably have a different set of parents, different set of siblings.


So many, many probabilities.

I'm always intrigued by my roots, where I came from an all.

But I never once asked my dad, like how my great granddad became the biggest "kuih" maker in Penang (Hence, the name KOAY. okay, i'm just kidding)

I never asked how did great grandma meet great grandpa?
Okay, most probably it was arranged, but there might be a slight chance, that they fell in love with each other, ran away and got married. Okay... right, too much Little Nyonya.

Or why did great grandpa had to leave China to come to Penang?

Or was great grandma a pretty lady when she first met great grandpa?

Heck, I don't even really know about my grandparents, don't talk about their parents then.
I mean, don't cha think its interesting knowing all these stories? Probably my great grandpa was a hero rescuing my great grandma from this evil, rich, horny fat guy. (okay, waaay too much of Little Nyonya)

I don't know.

I kinda regret that I didn't learn hokkien fast enough (neither was I old enough to be interested in these things) so that I can asked my grandpa. :\

Recently, I met someone.

She is the most wonderful creation man has ever made.
She is gorgeous, She's smarter than her peers, a valedictorian.
Most importantly, she's not blonde!

(okay, not all blondes are dumb but I like stereotypes. heh its just like how not all Asian's are nerds.)

We share the same interest;
facebook and music.


We would talk for hours and hours, talking bout our future, our dreams.
10 hours and 30 minutes to be exact.

She has a perfect memory, all the times that we spent together are like photographs to her.

I think she's the one.
She's perfect.

The only thing is, she stays pretty far away. And the only way we can communicate is through the phone or the internet.

We agreed, by 21 if we haven't break up, we're gonna get married, in Tokyo.

They actually take time to do cards (which are not the simple fold A4 paper in to half and then half again type)
When they actually should really be studying on Biology, and how Eutrophication takes place. Algal Bloom, I like. But not good for ponds.
ANYWAY, back to the topic, they made awesome cards, which obviously I'll will treasure it. (but if my house catches on fire, I don't know la huh.)

And the made it very YELLOW.
They know i go gaga over the colour yellow.
(like how Lady GAGA goes gaga over her... lady? doesn't make sense heh.)

And they actually manage to let people sign it, without me noticing.
Though I noticed Foo wai's card first. Abhi was writing on it, and i think he didn't know I was coming, so haha. When i reached there, I was like "Why does it look like an F?" Then it hit me, that the card was for me LOL.

And after school, suejean kept lagging me behind, asking me to talk to her. =.="
I knew there was something fishy. Then when i reached my bike, I saw an envolope on it. Then I saw Elena's head popped out of the corner, hiding her body. -.-"

Cute to the max, reminds me of Choba in one piece, the talking short reindeer haha.

She knows her stuff la, she knows what she wants to do and everything. It looks so planned out. I LOVE it la. Very detailed.

Usually when I do cards, its always according to my mood. (which person does that?!!)) And its always in a random manner one, don't have like, okay I'm going to do this this this, then combine with that that that.
Thats why i always buy excess colour papers, because I don't know what i want to do. Heh, that explains why sometimes my cards for people turn out a little gaudy. ^^




I am amazed at the amount of people who signed the card la weih. Like serious, because if i were me, and Elena asked me to write something for me, I would be like er, no way. I think mainly because I'm an asshole in school. haha




I knew what happen at the back, once i saw it hehe.
But I like to think the other way, I think it as ABSTRACT ART.

You see, it all depends on interpretation.
You can think of it as an beach scenary, with the sky, sea and land.
or you can think it as a humongous stripe shirt for a giant, and this is part of it.
or you can think that because stripes are "hot" this season, then you put it in.
It adds attitude okay.

So, i read thru all the messages that my friends wrote on Elena's card.
And i'm going to change it into goals, that I'm going to do with them

For instance, a message which says "Happy Birthday, you cocky arrogant boy!" will go like this:
I will be a cocky and arrogant boy with you.
Get it? Its a way I can thank them la.
Because sharing is caring. (and another way, is i can actually count how many people wrote in it la. haha, what i like to count. Maths rock! hahaha)

And its to see how funny it will go, and mainly its just to waste time la, I hate studying physics.
